Jonathan and Rosemary are thrilled to have received the following awards:

Wedding and Portrait Professionals International (WPPI) 2009 International Awards of Excellence 16X20 Print Competition

Accolades of Excellence - Both Rosemary and Jonathan were honored to be two of the four photographers from Kentucky who received Accolades of Excellence in the 2009 WPPI 2009. Rosemary received an Accolade of Excellence for "Happily Never After" in the Portrait division

 

 

Jonathan Received an Accolade of Excellence for "Oceans Blaze" in the Animals Category. Both images were on exhibit in Las Vegas as part of the 2009 WPPI Annual Convention.

 

 

 

 

Kentucky Professional Photographers Association (KPPA) 2009 State Convention:

Fuji Masterpiece Award - Portrait Category- Rosemary was extremely honored to receive this award for her "Happily Never After" image. This award is only given out once a year at the Kentucky Professional Photographers Association. Rosemary received the only Fuji Masterpiece Award given in the state of Kentucky for 2009.

Blue Ribbon Merit Award - Rosemary received a regional blue ribbon merit at the January 2009 Mid-East States print competition. This competition is judged by a panel of 6 internationally-recognized Master Photographers from around the United States. Her image, "Happily Never After," will now advance to the national level for judging later this year.

Rosemary was also awarded the Kentucky Professional Photographers Association Educational Scholarship for 2009. She will use this money to further her photography education--we truly believe in constant education when it comes to our business!

Nanz & Kraft Florist Brochure Cover

Recently, an incredible florist, Nanz & Kraft, contacted us about using some images from Meg and Michael's wedding!  They had the most gorgeous flowers on their big day and we were thrilled that the brochure designer asked us to be on the front and back cover of the piece of advertising literature!

This brochure is marketed throughout the region and we are so happy about the end product!

Kentucky Professional Photographers Association 2008 (KPPA) Fall Seminar:

1st Place Fall Print Competition - In preparation for the 2009 KPPA and Mid-East States print competition, Jonathan had the highest scoring print by a Seasoned Photographer in the fall print competition.

4th Place Fall Print Competition--This is the first print competition that Rosemary has ever entered and she was honored to receive 4th place overall in the Aspiring category, missing 3rd place by only one point!

Professional Photographers of America (PPA) 2008 International Print Competition:

Jonathan is proud to announce that his print, "Sunset Swim," was recently been accepted into the General Collection of the 117th International Exhibition of Professional Photography. Jonathan's work will be on display at the Phoenix Convention Center, January 11-13, 2009, in Phoenix, Arizona. This exhibition is held in conjunction with Imaging USA, an annual convention of over 8,600 professional photographers and several
photographic associations. Approximately 4,514 entries were submitted to Professional Photographers of America’s (PPA’s) International Print Competition, from which a panel of more than 40 eminent photographers from across the United States selected the images that would comprise the 2008 General and Loan Collections...the most prestigious awards. In recognition of the achievement, PPA members receive one merit for each entry into the General Collection (39% of entrants). These merits can be applied toward PPA degrees granted by the association.

This award is only given out once a year at the Kentucky Professional Photographers Association. Jonathan received the only Fuji Masterpiece Award given in the state of Kentucky for the Wedding Category.

2nd Place Kentucky Photographer in the Overall Wedding Category- "First Dance" was also awarded 2nd place in the state in the Wedding Division.

3 Blue Ribbon Merit Awards - Jonathan received 3 blue ribbon merits at the January 2008 KPPA print competition. This competition is judged by a panel of 6 internationally-recognized Master Photographers from around the United States. His images are currently being evaluated by the national panel of print competition judges.

Administrative Positions:

Rosemary and Jonathan are also honored to serve on the Board of Directors for the 2008 fiscal year of the Professional Photographers Association of Greater Louisville Organization.

Rosemary and Jonathan both serve on the Kentucky Professional Photographers Association print committee and competition crew. They aid in the overall success of the print competition by working behind the scenes during the event.

Kentucky Professional Photographers Association 2007 Fall Seminar:

3rd Place Fall Print Competition - In preparation for the 2008 KPPA state print competition Jonathan placed 3rd in the fall print competition.

Jonathan also received the fall photography scholarship award, which is a monetary gift to be used for future workshops, seminars, classes, and print competitions.

Publications:

Rosemary and Jonathan's "First Dance" image was chosen as the cover of "Kentucky Bridal Magazine" for the 2007 fall issue. The editor also gave Rosemary the task and honor of writing the feature story about their spotlight wedding couple, Tricia and Mark! Their images were also featured in the previous two issues of the magazine.

Other Honors and Administrative Positions:

Rosemary and Jonathan were chosen to be a part of the 2007 "Faces of Oldham" photography exhibit in LaGrange, Kentucky. Their work was displayed in Gallery 104 for public viewing.
